Outpost Camps...
Enjoy the comfort of one of our nine outpost camps on
9 different lakes all situated on the famous Ogoki-Albany river systems,
their tributaries and headwaters in Northwestern Ontario CANADA. These 9 lakes range in size from 2000 to 25,000 acres, offering truly
spectacular walleye and northern pike fishing and additional angling
for species such as lake trout, brook trout, sturgeon and whitefish. For those interested in wildlife, you can anticipate viewing a wide
variety while at any of our outpost camps or lodges. Moose, black bear,
woodland caribou, timber wolves and many fur bearing species such as
beaver, otter and pine marten abound in the area. Bald eagles and osprey
are also seen in great numbers, especially on the Ogoki Reservoir where
many nest and raise their young. The Ogoki Reservoir is also a calving
area for woodland caribou. Cabins of log or frame construction are fully equipped with propane
refrigerators, propane ranges, solar lights, wood stoves for heat (plus
plenty of firewood), beds with mattresses, all cooking and eating utensils,
hand made pine furnishings and plenty of ice for packing your fish.
All camps are equipped with late model Lund boats; late model 9.9 horsepower
Mercury motors (plus spares) and an unlimited supply of gas.
